Queen's Health Professions Online Fair 2024

ONLINE on Brazen-Thursday, May 2, 2024, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM ET

Join us May 2, 2024, at our first Queen's Health Professions Online Fair, where you will have the opportunity to connect virtually with students for meaningful one-to-one conversations.

With over 31,000 students, Queen's University is a globally recognized academic and research institution with unparalleled achievements, including a 2023 ranking of 1st in Canada and 3rd worldwide for sustainability and social impact. We stand on a strong history of scholarship, discovery, and innovation.

Who is our target student audience?  How many students will attend?
  • While student groups and faculties have expressed interest in the May 2 Queen's Health Professionals Online Fair, this is a pilot project with no historical data to estimate expected attendance. Booth pricing has been set with the understanding that attendance numbers will be lower than for in-person fairs.
Who will benefit from hosting a booth?
  • Employers interested in connecting with students in the Bachelor of Health Sciences, Life Sciences, or Kinesiology & Health Studies programs for post-graduation, internship, or summer job opportunities.
  • Educational institutions, schools, and programs offering opportunities for advanced studies for students from the target audience.
Employers must have at least 1 position posted to our MyCareer Job Board that students from the Bachelor of Health Sciences, Life Sciences, or Kinesiology & Health Studies Programs will be considered for. Employers may also promote positions targeted to other programs, including clinical positions.

Registrations for this event are now closed.

Terms and Conditions

All registrations must be paid in full no later than April 19, 2024.

Organizer Cancellation Policy

This Online Fair is organized by the Queen's University Career Services team, who reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access and registration to any organization or individual, at any time including after registration with full payment.

Attendee Cancellation Policy

Please send notice of cancellation in writing to qocr@queensu.ca. If notice of cancellation is received 14 days or more before the event, a full refund of registration fee less a $50 administrative fee will be provided.

If the cancellation is received after the 14-day cut-off date, no refund will be issued. This policy applies whether payment was submitted at the time of online registration or not - exhibitors who cancel within the 14-day cut-off date will still receive an invoice.

Exhibitors who register but do not attend on the day of the event will be required to pay the full cost of registration. No registration will be accepted for a future event until payment is submitted.

Force Majeure

After the cancellation cut-off date, payments made are not refundable for any reason, including, but not limited to, failure to attend the fair due to illness or due to any event beyond the reasonable control of the parties, such as an act of God, natural disaster, travel-related problems, or an act of terrorism.

Event Cancellation Policy

If, for any reason, the event must be cancelled by Queen's University, any cancellation will be communicated directly to exhibitors as soon as possible. In the case of event cancellation, participating organizations will be offered, in lieu of and at no additional cost, registration at one of Career Services' future events. No registration fee refunds will be issued. If the event is already in progress at the time of campus closure, there will be no refund or deferred registration.

No refund will be issued if the event is in operation and an exhibitor is unable to attend due to severe weather in their geographical region - in this case, our usual cancellation policy will apply. If possible, our staff will work with those affected to carry registration forward to a future Career Services event.

Non-Profit, Social Services, Indigenous, and Government Organizations Rate Eligibility

A discounted registration rate is available to organizations of a Canadian national/federal, provincial, or local entity that hold recognized charitable status. Eligible organizations must also operate on a not-for-profit basis and have a mission to benefit the local community. Government contractors and private education institutions are not eligible for the discount. Queen's University reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time and to deny or cancel the discount for ineligible organizations. The discounted registration rate is subject to availability.

No spaces remaining or registration is closed.
