Statement on Acknowledgement of Traditional Land
Queen's University is situated on the territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek.
Registrations must be paid in full no later than September 20, 2024.
This event is organized by the Queen's University Career Services team, who reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access and registration to any organization or individual, at any time including after registration with full payment.
Please send notice of cancellation in writing to qocr@queensu.ca. If notice of cancellation is received 15 business days or more before the event, a full refund of registration fee less a $100 administrative fee will be provided.
If the cancellation is received after the 15-business-day cut-off date, no refund will be issued. This policy applies whether payment was submitted at the time of online registration or not - exhibitors who cancel within the 15-business-day cut-off date will still receive an invoice.
Exhibitors who register but do not attend on the day of the event will be required to pay the full cost of registration. No registration will be accepted for a future event until payment is submitted.
After the cancellation cut-off date, payments made are not refundable for any reason, including, but not limited to, failure to attend the fair due to illness or due to any event beyond the reasonable control of the parties, such as an act of God, natural disaster, travel-related problems, or an act of terrorism.
If, for any reason, the event must be cancelled by Queen's University, any cancellation will be communicated directly to exhibitors as soon as possible. In the case of event cancellation, participating organizations will be offered, in lieu of and at no additional cost, registration at one of Career Services' future events. No registration fee refunds will be issued. If the event is already in progress at the time of campus closure, there will be no refund or deferred registration.
No refund will be issued if the event is in operation and an exhibitor is unable to attend due to severe weather in their geographical region - in this case, our usual cancellation policy will apply. If possible, our staff will work with those affected to carry registration forward to a future Career Services event.
A discounted registration rate is available to organizations of a Canadian national/federal, provincial, or local entity that hold recognized charitable status. Eligible organizations must also operate on a not-for-profit basis and have a mission to benefit the local community. Government contractors and private education institutions are not eligible for the discount. Queen's University reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time and to deny or cancel the discount for ineligible organizations. The discounted registration rate is subject to availability.
